Flyer and brochure printing in Doha: sizes, paper and tips

A good flyer is still one of the easiest ways to tell people about a new shop, a restaurant menu, a sale or a school event in Qatar. A brochure gives more space for details, like services and prices. Here is what to know before you send your design to print.

Flyer or brochure?

• Flyer: one sheet, printed on one or both sides. Good for offers, openings, events and quick messages.
• Brochure: a folded sheet with several panels. Good for company profiles, clinic services, school information and product lists.
• Booklet: many pages stapled or bound. Good for catalogues, menus with many items and reports.

Choosing the paper

Thicker paper feels more professional. Gloss paper makes photos look bright, and matt paper looks calm and is easy to write on. Thin paper is fine for large handouts, while brochures and company profiles look better on heavier paper. Tell us how you will use the print and we will suggest the right paper. Design tips that save time

1. Keep one main message. A big headline and one offer work better than ten small ones.
2. Add contact details. Phone, WhatsApp, location and a QR code to your map or website.
3. Arabic and English. Many Qatar businesses print both. Leave enough space so neither side looks crowded.
4. Use high quality images and logos. Low quality images from WhatsApp often look blurry in print.
5. Leave a margin. Keep text away from the edges so nothing gets cut. If your design goes to the edge, add bleed (extra background around the page).
6. Check spelling twice. Ask a second person to read it before printing.

Folding a brochure

The tri-fold is the most common. The front panel is the cover, the back panel often has contact details, and the inside three panels hold your main content. Make sure the panels in your design are set up for folding, or ask us and we can help.

When to order

Plan ahead before big events like Qatar National Day, Ramadan, Eid offers or school openings, because many businesses print at the same time. Check your final design early so there is time for corrections.
