Menu card printing in Doha for restaurants and cafes

Opening a restaurant or cafe in Qatar, or updating your menu? Tips on menu sizes, paper, Arabic and English text, table tent cards and takeaway printing.

Your menu is the one thing every customer reads. A clear, good-looking menu helps people choose faster and order more. Whether you run a karak shop, a family restaurant or a cafe in Doha, here is what to think about before you print.

Pick the right type of menu

  • Single card menu. One sheet, printed on one or both sides. Good for cafes and small menus.
  • Folded menu. A sheet folded in two or three. Gives more space without being heavy.
  • Booklet menu. Many pages, bound together. Good for large restaurants with many dishes.
  • Table tent cards. Small standing cards on each table for specials, new drinks or breakfast offers.
  • Takeaway flyer menu. A light flyer to put inside delivery bags and give at the counter.

Paper and finish

Menus are handled all day, sometimes with wet or oily hands. So choose a thick paper or card for table menus. A thinner paper is fine for takeaway flyers that customers keep at home.

For table menus, lamination is a good idea. It protects the menu from spills and makes it easy to wipe clean between customers. Ask our team which paper and finish suits your menu.

Arabic and English

In Qatar, many customers read Arabic and many read English. Printing both makes your menu easy for everyone. Keep the layout clean:

  • Use the same order of dishes in both languages.
  • Give each language enough space. Do not squeeze the text.
  • Ask a native speaker to check the spelling before printing.

Design tips that help sales

  1. Group items clearly: breakfast, main dishes, sandwiches, drinks, desserts.
  2. Use a few good photos of your best dishes, not a photo for everything.
  3. Make prices easy to read and keep them in one column.
  4. Add your phone, WhatsApp and Instagram so people can order again.
  5. Add a QR code that opens your online menu or delivery page.
  6. Use your logo and colours so the menu matches your shop.

Plan for price changes

Prices and dishes change. If you change your menu often, print a smaller quantity or use table tent cards for new items, so you do not throw away a big stock of old menus.
