Certificate printing in Qatar for schools, courses and events
Need certificates for a school event, training course or staff award in Qatar? Tips on paper, design, names, folders and frames, plus how to order printing.
A certificate is a small thing, but people keep it for years. Schools give them on prize day, training centres give them after a course, and companies give them for staff awards. In Qatar, the end of the term and the winter event season keep certificate orders busy. Here is how to get them right.
What goes on a certificate?
- Your logo and the name of your school, company or institute.
- The title, for example Certificate of Achievement, Completion or Appreciation.
- The person's full name, spelled correctly.
- What it is for: the course name, the award or the event.
- The date and the place.
- Signatures with names and job titles, and a stamp if you use one.
Many organisations in Qatar print certificates in both Arabic and English. If you do, give both languages the same weight in the design.
Choose a good paper
Normal office paper feels thin for a certificate. A thicker card looks and feels more special. You can also use special certificate paper with a pearl or metallic look, or paper that already has a printed border. Ask our printing team to show you the options.
Names: the part that goes wrong
Most certificate problems come from names. To avoid reprints:
- Send the names in one Excel sheet, one name per row.
- Copy names from official lists, not from memory.
- Check the spelling in both Arabic and English.
- Ask one person to check the final proof before printing.
Printing names yourself?
Some schools order blank certificates with the design printed, and then add names on their own office printer. This works well when names change at the last minute. Print one test sheet first, because thick paper can need the manual tray. If your printer jams, read our tips on clearing a paper jam.
Folders, holders and frames
For a graduation or a formal award, put the certificate in a certificate folder or holder. It protects the paper and looks great in photos on stage. For staff awards and office walls, an A4 frame is a nice touch.
Plan ahead for big events
- Get your list of names early and send it with the design.
- Order a few spare blank certificates for late names.
- Order your company stamp early if you need one for signing.
- Need badges for the same event? See our ID card and lanyard guide.
